Welcome to Gallery Roads, my city-art-travel blog for the wanderer seeking the most beautiful things created by other people. Having been to over 60 cities and visited over 100 museums, I wanted to share my experiences and best tips for the savvy traveller.
I have a belief that whether you love your surroundings or not, you should know what else is out there. Travel is challenging and full of unknown adventures, no matter how well you plan. Throughout my ‘Diary’ series you can read what it felt like to walk through cities in the middle of the night and battle through crowds at the most recognizable creations.
I’ve seen some incredible things, been the grateful receiver of strangers sharing kindness, and walked along my favourite places more than once. What I have learned for certain is no matter how much you wonder, you will never form a sense of a place without standing there.
